A survey of around 95 SMEs in the Flemish creative sector (media, production houses, design agencies, and XR studios) revealed urgent needs and barriers surrounding the implementation of generative AI in their operations. We want to meet these needs by setting up a Creative AI Sandbox, with the support of VLAIO. Specifically, this Sandbox includes:

· An extensive PC lab and GPU cluster
This gives us the computational power needed for new (real-time) AI production workflows for classic and immersive content. This allows us to keep pace with developments in the sector.

· A hybrid photogrammetry studio and 360° camera
Our current photogrammetry studio is being transformed into a hybrid version, which can create faster and more complete 3D reconstructions using NeRFs and additional cameras. This will enable the (semi-)automation of 3D modeling, which is currently very time-consuming.
